Day by Day of the Program
DAY 1
Airport in São Paulo – Canaã Farm (Bernardino de Campos SP)

Pick-up and greeting at São Paulo airport by our English speaking guide.
Departure in a private transfer to the farm areas in Bernardino de Campos (270 km on paved federal road – approximately 3.5 hours).
Arrival by late afternoon at the nationally award winning farm Canaã where you will meet the family owners of the farm, 3 generations, and the rest of the farm team.
We will have a Sunset Brazilian BBQ that you may also help to prepare and of course some tasty local drinks and refreshments.
After the dinner we bring you to Hotel Beira Rio, 15 minute drive, where you will stay for the next 2 nights.
DAY 2
Canaã Farm
( Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner )
Wake up and have a local delicious breakfast at the hotel before we leave to go back to the Canaã farm for a full day of theoretical and practical learning sessions, focused on the production of Soja, Peanut Seeds, Corn, and Sorghum, but you will also get a good overview of the complete Brazilian Agro Market. All will be explained by Mr. Aluízio Borém, one of Brazils most knowledgable authors and speakers in the area of agro and also a professor at the most reputable agro university in Brazil, The Federal University of Viçosa. Aluízio holds a Ph.D in Agronomy from the University of Minnesota.
DAY 3
Frutap Farm & Industry (Bernardino de Campos SP)

Again today we will visit another one of Brazils model agro businesses and also family owned now for 2 generations. Frutap is one of the biggest dairy product producers in Brazil and holds about 7% of the national market and supplies around a 100 different dairy final products.
In the morning we will visit their dairy farm to learn how the milk is extracted and in the afternoon we will visit their industry to understand how their final products are made and shipped nationally.
This day we will have lunch and dinner in the city of Piraju, where your hotel is located. We have chosen restaurants with great location and local traditional dishes during the whole program.
DAY 4
Back home (or if extra program added to Rio de Janeiro)

Last day of this great adventure. Take in the views of the Brazilian farm lands one more time and say good bye to all new friends and contacts that you have made on this amazing trip, before we bring you to the São Paulo airport in time for your departure flight.

Your hotel is located right at the river shore of one of the most important rivers in the state of São Paulo and also 5 minutes walking distance to the charming small town of Piraju, which we will also do a city tour in.
From here we have everything we want to do at our doorsteps and can also easily relax by the hotel pool.
